• Chopper is a brighter orange than Sidecar from Naked Original.
• Tease is new and matte.
• Snakebite is new- but very similar to others from Naked Original.
• Suspect is slightly more beige than Sidecar from Naked Original.
• Pistol doesn’t compare to any shades in Naked Original.
• Verve doesn’t compare to any shades in Naked Original.
• YDK is a close dupe to Sidecar and similar to Toasted in Naked Original.

In my humble opinion, a complete cool palette or matte palette would have been more lucrative to the brand.

It's OFFICIAL! Or pretty close anyway… It appears that Urban Decay has released sneak peeks of the new Naked #2 palette. They state on their website that "the big news will arrive via email on 12/1/2011." After combing the internet I found a sneak peek, see below. For the life of me I cannot recall how much the original price of NAKED was, but I'm thinking quite expensive. Currently the palette is $48USD on Urban's website. NAKED #2 is $50USD.

The new palette looks to have more metallic, more frost, and is in a metal container versus a cardboard one. Also from what I can tell it appears that the new palette will have a lip gloss or polish (?), versus the origial that came with a primer potion and in all cases eye pencils, which will be discontinued from the new packaging of both palettes, replaced by a nice looking brush (see the first photo above).

Very excited to swatch the new palette, hope to do so as soon as it's released! Check back.

Promotions; Too Faced, Nars, Sephora, Josie Maran and More...

So what did YOU purchase during this holiday season's promotions?

I got plenty and hoping to pay no more attention to any cosmetic sales or even the men will have make-up in their stockings!

I have swatches of several items and looks, other items I'm still waiting on and will give complete reviews very soon. With all of the sales; Friends & Family, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and other promotions I got anywhere from 20-40% off and free shipping on all of the items below. From what I have received I am really only dissatisfied with one item, that being the Too Faced Liquif-Eye Collection. Honestly, you don't have to spend that kind of money ($18 plus discount) to make an eye shdaow into a double use product such as eyeliner...I simply did not pay attention, always loving the shadow books I purchased without reading the product information. I would have definitely never paid the regular price of $32!

Too Faced Liquif-Eye is about being a dual-purpose product, both eye shadow and eyeliner. For those of you who don't know, you can make any eye shadow or pigment into an eyeliner very easily simply by purchasing a liquid medium such as MUF Eye Seal (There are cheaper seals on the market),


Eye Seal has been designed to waterproof all powdery make-up (Star Powder, Diamond Powder, Eye Shadows, Eyeliner cake, Pigments, Glitters) and pencils. It intensifies make-up colors and pearl effects. Its alcohol-free formula does not irritate the skin and can be applied close to the eye.

mix a drop of it with eye shadow powder and wallah, you have eyeliner and usually waterproof! I will do a video of this later with some $1.99 drug store pallettes I purchased. Here is a video by Maggiealex8380 demonstrating how it's done.
